Stylish Sketches stamp set…..free with a $50 order. At first I didn’t get a vision for this stamp set….but this card changed my mind! I love it for a fun masculine card! Here it is paired with Mossy Meadow card stock #133676, Cajun Craze card stock #119684, and Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper #158941. Embellishments are Brushed Metallic Dots #156506 and Linen Thread #104199

Easy masking technique video using Wonderful World Stamp Set from 2022 Sale-a-bration

Masking Technique/Hippo treat box
What is masking?…….It’s a way to cover up or block off part of your card or image. It's a way of protecting an area from ink when stamping or blending.
When you join Stampin’ Up as a demonstrator under me, one perk is to attend team meetings! They are usually about 3 hours long and a lot of fun chatting with friends, learning new techniques and things - who knows what nuggets you will hear, getting gifts, participating in swaps, and lunch :)
This month we studied masking techniques….a whole world of possibilities! Below, I am sharing from the swap cards my team made most all using some kind of masking technique.

Mosaic Texture Chic Scrapbook layout
Texture Chic Designer Series Paper is so intriguing! It’s got a touch of gold in different patterns on each different sheet in the package….there are seashells with gold dots, wood grain with gold lines, flowers with gold diamonds…..
This month I’ve used it for a Mosaic scrapbook spread. I love how the gold and the design looks - it’s shabby chic, its elegant, and it’s so interesting to look at the design!
Texture Chic Designer Series Paper #158808
This spread is created on Pool Party Base and uses Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen as mattes for pictures. Click on the thumbnails below to enlarge the pictures. Also, Fabulous Frames Item #159163 were used in Gold Foil as accents.
Our other spread uses the Sale-a-bration Tree Lot Dies item #159938. Currently, this die set is unavailable. I’ll post when I know a definite time to order these as a free gift during Sale-a-bration in August 2022.

I feel loved!/Card Buffet
Over the past couple of months, I’ve received so many cards! I can tell you all ….A BIG THANK YOU!!!! Each time I get them mail…I’m always looking to see if there is a handmade card….and that gets opened super fast! I have felt so encouraged, loved, valued, and like I was given energy to keep going when so very tired a lot of the time.
I am very grateful to be the recipient of all the beautiful cards, prayers, and thoughts from all of you!!! It’s the icing on the cake! :) Carrot Cake!
I did have a Happy Birthday - was a little strange that my children/spouses give me gifts this year as well as spending time with me and Scott. Time with family is so precious! And it was a little fun although not expected to open their gifts!

Scrapbook your July 4th and Family pictures!
Greetings everyone! I hope this summer is giving you fun with your families! Below are June’s scrapbook spreads….I’m a little late getting them posted as well as a lot of birthday and encouragement cards.
All of your cards have been such an uplifting encouragement to me!!! I will get them all posted. Life has been so busy with the estate sale, I have missed time in the stamp room for sure!

July 4th Spread using Hey Sports Fan 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper - retired and retired Chevron punch All Stampin’ Up
TIP:
To keep the chevron pieces straight when applying on your spread, cut a 1 inch piece of cardstock - a different color than your base piece and use a couple pieces of Post-it Tape or sticky sheet to adhere while attaching the chevron pieces. This will keep them straight. See picture below.
Also, adding a bit of glimmer paper with the chevrons makes things shine without being too much competition for your firework pictures.
Family Spread with Cottage Rose stamps and die set
TIP:
Part of the Designer Series Paper used is a quiet piece of Smoky Slate. For the other paper, I made my own by randomly stamping the same flower image from Cottage Rose stamp set on Basis White cardstock. You see this paper under the letters “FAMILY” and under the right side picture mattes.
The same flower is then stamped on Basic White cardstock and colored in Rich Razzleberry with a sponge dauber and the leaves Soft Seafoam. Click on pictures to enlarge. Sorry, pictures seem a bit fuzzy tonight.

Stampin' Up Hope & Prayer
We are in week #2 of my challenge on purchasing Hope & Prayer stamp set……. I think I’ve counted over 10 purchased just from me ot counting my team! I’m excited!!! I’m including below, samples of cards we’ve designed using Hope & Prayer.

Take the Challenge! Hope & Prayer
I admit, I fell in love with the Hope & Prayer stamp set on page 71 of the annual catalog! I love the sentiments - “You are in my Prayers” and “Under His Wings you will find Refuge” are so encouraging!
It is my goal this month to sell as many of this stamp set as I can and challenge my team to do the same. At the end of the month (July 31st) my team will send a total for what they and their team have sold.
At that point, I plan to write Stampin’ Up and let them know of my challenge and exactly how many we have sold and ask SU to continue to create and promote Biblically based products that send a healing message.

When you look through the catalog, you’re bound to stop and look at the Sun Prints Suite Collection on page 90 and 91 in the Stampin’ Up idea book and catalog!
The Designer Series Paper has such a contrast of color pop! And the blue and white give such a clean look! I love how it looks on Basic White card base.

Exciting News!
She said Yes!
We have had a whirlwind of a weekend! Saturday, Elizabeth and Nate got engaged…..yes! Lots of smiles!!! No dates yet….we’ll keep you updated. :) I can pretty well guarantee it will not be September. Wink Wink!
This weekend, Scott and I also visited with our son, Joshua and wife, Karla in Leland, near Wilmington NC. That was exciting to visit them at their new residence!
Creative Escape:
