Love Cats.....Valentine cards

They are soooo cute! and Playful! Ok, please don’t take offense, cats are not on my favorite list due to an encounter when I was very young and sleeping but these Love Cats stamp set #160410 are just fun for any Valentine card! They are light and playful….letting the mischievous humor come out without anyone getting hurt. I totally recommend ordering this set to use for a little lighthearted frolic! Anytime!

In addition to using Love Cats Stamp set, we also used the Country Gingham 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper #160388 on both cards and Country Floral 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper for the Balmy Blue hearts.

TIP: To get a nice dark full images for you cat, mount cat image on your Stamp-a-ratus so that you can ink and stamp a couple of times in the same place.

January Scrapbooking Layout was also so much fun! We used the FREE Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper along with coordinstring set of stamps and dies. I invite you to attend each month….usually the 3rd Saturday evening to join us in making 2 two-page spreads. Here’s a sampling….

There are 2 of these sheets of DSP in every package of Day At The Farm 12 x 12 DSP. it’s paper. By arranging the Real Red matte’s, it is not obvious that you are using the same sheet of DSP side by side.

I loved pairing the Conversation Bubble Bundle #160637 with On The Farm Bundle #160661 - just gives it a more personal feel.

Notice the little bunny, pigs, and ducks in the background of these pages! They are die cut from the Day On The Farm Dies….there are 27 dies in this package! Some of the dies cut out the stamps and animals on the Day At The Farm DSP and On the Farm stamp images. Other dies included cut out images for the background to show dimension and distance on the rolling hills like the little animals I’ve add to the pages.

You may also want to get an extra package of the Day At the Farm DSP….I think it would make wonderful laminated cards or spiral bound book for a toddler learning numbers and animals!!! OK, I’m so excited there is another grand baby on the way….I’m thinking grandma thoughts :)

Our next layout is with Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper found in our 2022-2023 Annual Stampin’ Up catalog. These pages make me think of that picture you don’t know whether to get mad or laugh at. Just lots of cuteness! Beware….I’ve left an “e” out :(

Video - purse tutorial

Whether it’s for your best friend, bridal shower gift or favors for a birthday party, this little purse is such a sweet way to package a gift!

You can vary the size by the width of card stock used. For the purse in the video we used an 11” x 6 1/4” piece of card stock. You can smaller size by changing the width of card stock to 3 1/4”, 4 1/4” or whatever width you desire by adjusting just the one measurement…..the width.

I am still taking reservations for this year’s Birthday Card Stampin’ Blitz! It will be held Saturday…one day 8 AM to 8 PM at the Dallas Senior Center, 1303 Dallas Cherryville Hwy., Dallas, NC

That day, you will make 20 Birthday cards….2 of 10 different styles. Cost of $95 includes:

  • 20 cards cut and ready for you to stamp/die cut

  • Adhesive, embellishments, and a small gift

  • picture/written out tutorial sheets to use and take home with you

  • Breakfast, lunch, supper, and cupcake dessert buffet

This past Saturday, we had our first team meeting for 2023! I love our team meetings - to see everyone enjoying themselves…talking….making cards….gifts….and enjoying lunch!

Winter Memories with Alphabet A La Mode

I hope you will snap a few pictures in the upcoming week or two - WINTER pictures….I see the temp is dropping and maybe some snowflakes in our future! Here are the most recent scrapbook layouts we’ve created to keep those memories alive in the future.

And this one is perfect for your WINTER snapshots! We used Joyful Flurry from July - December 2022 mini catalog and a couple of retired snowflake die sets along with upcoming January - April 2023 mini catalog, Alphabet A La Mode die set for the letters.

It's a busy time of the year....

But I hope you can relax a bit and enjoy the true meaning of Christmas! We just enjoyed a wonderful celebration of Jesus tonight at church.

Kudos to those who have gotten Christmas cards out …..already before December!!! Wow! It doesn’t seem like it’s December already! but….it’s here!

In this post, I’ve included for your inspiration and leftovers to sell from the craft fairs I’ve done this year. As you know, I won’t hold any food items over to the next year. And this year I have 2023 calendars and some fairy lights that are just too cute to save those batteries for next year.
