2023 Engaging Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up

Another year Stampin’ Up has created some eye-catching Designer Series Paper! The catalog does not do justice to the pictures. As I separated it all out, my eyes loved looking at all the patterns, colors, and designs!

2023 Designer Series Paper Shares….

A great way to see ALL the different patterns and papers and decide which packages you want to get the whole package AND to have a LITTLE of ALL the Designer Series Paper is to purchase a SHARE.

For the 12 x 12 DSP, I prefer to cut it to measurement 4 x 12 inches so you will be able to get 2 complete card fronts plus a little extra piece.

I am offering 2 different shares for the Designer Series Paper this year.

2023 6 x 6 DSP - 54 different sheets Cost $18. and includes:

  • Bright & Beautiful

  • Glorious Gingham

  • Inked Botanicals

  • 2023-2025 In Color

  • Brights Collection

2023 12 x 12 DSP - measures 4 x 12 - 60 Sheets Cost $26. and includes:

Monkey Around with the Little Monkey Bundle from Stampin' Up!

That’s exactly what we did with these CUTE little monkeys at our team meeting this past Saturday!

NEW in the 2023-2024 Stampin’ Up annual catalog is a CUTE stamp and builder punch called Little Monkey. Sale begins Tuesday, May 2nd. Item #161379 $38.50 USD plus tax and shipping.

Here are samples of our creativity with this Little Monkey bundle. First is a flip card…. The card opens as a regular card but on the front is a pull tag at the bottom so you can “flip” through the monkey swinging, eating a banana to the final sentiment of “I’m bananas about you”

One of the gifts at our team meeting was some banana bread…tied with a monkey belly band. We also added a monkey belly band to the plastic ware

And here’s another card we made from the Little Monkey Bundle. The face was made by stamping the monkey on crumb cake CS with Pecan Pie ink and then punching it out and adhering it to a stamped and punched monkey in Pecan Pie ink and CS.

Cathy made her swap card for the team meeting using the Little Monkey too…

There’s more to love in the NEW annual catalog….Cheerful Daises Bundle and Beautiful Balloons Bundle

This Cheerful Daisies card was created by Elaine

I’ve received my catalogs and will be mailing out Monday, May 1st to you. And I’ll bring the others to each club.

2022-2023 Annual Catalog retiring list
2023 January to April mini catalog retiring list

Updates for Stampin' Up retired list and Boyle

I am so sorry to cause some confusion this afternoon. I had been in a meeting and afterward quickly dropped the pdf in a prewritten post and emailed to everyone. Later, I discovered the sale prices only come into effect on April 4th @ 12 AM mountain time which is 2:00AM our time.

Please refer back to early post today for the retiring product lists.

After looking at some of the lists - I would definitely consider ordering stamp sets that are not on sale. The past couple of years Stampin’ Up has only made a certain number of stamp sets and when they were finished selling those, they did make any more…thus on some items the stamp sets sold out earlier than die sets.

Also, card stock and reindeers have sold quickly as well as Designer Series Paper, and punches.

These can be tough decisions! Is the discount or having the item more important? And I am only giving a maybe good guess as no one knows how many will order what when???

Another thing to be aware of is Stampin’ Up is using a system Queue-it to prevent the whole system shutting down during peak ordering times. This system will put everyone in line to order. You may be put in a waiting room until your turn to order. This will prevent the system from shutting everyone out….so be patient if you are in the waiting room to order and don’t click out and loose your place in line to order.

Updates on the Boyles:

Nothing is changing!!!!!! only where we sleep and work and eat. Scott has made the decision to sell our home here. We have rented a house in Gastonia for the interim while we decide where to land for the upcoming years. We will be staying in the area. I just want something easier to maintain as we get older, all one level and something that will retain its value as Scott will be having an art studio built to continue to paint from. (you can check out his work on scottboyleart.com ). Please don’t panic…nothing is changing! No events are being canceled. For now, April stamp events will be same place unless I text differently.

Oh, one other thing I really need some help with……a new home for Ginger. If everyone could spread the word and ask your friends please! She loves people and being around people, she likes the warm sunshine but doesn’t live outside in the cold, she does not do well with babies or small children - we think some trauma when a pup and she doesn’t like thunder/lightening/wind storms but is fine if she is close to you during those times.

See you all soon! Please call or text or email if you have any questions on ordering.

I am excited to share our celebration this weekend! All went so well and Elizabeth sends her love and thankfulness to all! She said to tell you all she is working on Thank You cards but has had a lot of orchestra weeks before the wedding. Elizabeth asked her photographer especially to send me a few pictures that were taken of her and Nate. We can not say enough good about her photographer, Brittany Mundy! She was awesome! I have filled in with other pictures Scott and I took during the festivities. We hope you enjoy!

Elizabeth and Nathan

The morning started around 9 AM with girls getting hair and makeup and a lot of waiting….pictures started around 11:30AM with lunch and more waiting while pictures were being taken. You can see my Daniel has to have a funny picture but he was a sweetheart waiting and always being on hand to do whatever was needed!

Yes, that’s Anna and her husband, Daniel Zellers and you see Camille and Karla, my son Joshua’s wife and baby, Allie just starting to show herself with a little bump in her mom’s belly :)

The wedding started at 3PM You see Anna’s husband playing the violin - which was absolutely beautiful!!!

We were honored to have the sweet girls Elizabeth is nanny to as part of the wedding as flower girls.

Presenting Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Russell

And reception after with first dance, daddy daughter dance….Scott did really well!, and party time! Followed by cutting of cake and the shoe game. You see my son Joshua and Karla definitely know their dance steps.

And at the end….a big send off with sparklers!

Thank you for being part of our lives and rejoicing with us! We are truly blessed and enriched by sharing our lives together.

Much Love, Esther and Elizabeth

Tutorial using Two-Tone Flora Die and Queen Bee Die

Are you up for a new technique that is super easy? Check out this one!

When you look at the Copper Embossed image on the Petal Pink card stock, do you see the image of the Two-Tone flowers? Pretty cool!

Click on the button below for the link to tutorial. Basically, you will die cut the Two-Tone Flora Die on scrap card stock and then place over the card stock you are wanting to emboss. Your Two-Tone Flora die cut acts as a template for the embossing powder image. You can then cut/punch into squares or whatever shape you would like.

Heated Emossing Using a Template

Here is another sample I made…..I was going for a simple and clean look with Basic White ink and Basic White Embossing Powder. Stampin’ Up embossing powder is great for these projects because it is fine and when heated results in a clean embossed image.

Sr. Center Class is this Thursday, March 16th at 1:00pm. Below are 3 of the 4 cards will be making at the class. Please RSVP to Esther so I have card stock cut and ready for you.

And…..I have to brag on some of my downline and their creations:

Elaine used a window sheet for her card front and Linda made these cute little boxes for Easter.

Morningside club—Tuesday, March 21st, Pam T. is our hostess

Thanks for visiting!! Have some fun stamping this week! Next week we’ll have some wedding pictures to post for you.
