Beach Days and Easter Bunny by Stampin' Up

Do you long for summer days by at the beach? Make those memories last when you preserve them in a scrapbook book! or in a frame decorated with Beach Days stamp and die set from Stampin’ Up!

It’s so easy to do…..it’s like making a BIG card….the decoration just makes looking at the pictures come alive by setting the background, feeling like you are there!

I would encourage you to attend once a month….ususally the 3rd Saturday evening to put these spreads together and then drop your pictures in the photo mats when you get them printed. You will be so pleased at what a years worth of once a month for 4 hours will yield….48 pages for your scrapbook and hours of fun with the family looking and talking about those memories!

Take a sneak peek at the Easter Bunny! It’s a NEW Basic Beige card stock. It’s a new basic color to replace Sahara Sand color….super nice!

Next, let’s focus on the beach!

You know right away it’s the beach with palm trees and a lift guard shack! Not to mention all the sand!

Set up your chair and snap pictures of your day at the beach and then pop them on the pages after they are printed! Use Beach Day bundle #162800. I love the realistic sea gull in this set!

To achieve the sand and sky, we used blending brushes and Crumb Cake ink and Blending Brushes.

The wave is die cut from Waves Dies #158840.

Saturday, March 23rd - Card Kit Class. This class is a super great starter to paper crafting! You will learn and make 8-9 cards from a kit of your choice. Class is at 10 AM to 11:30 AM. plus a breakfast snack….bring you coffee :) Kits range from $15 to $25 RSVP

Saturday, March 23rd - Scrapbooking. This class is at 4PM. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy an evening and make 2 two-page spreads you can drop your pictures in at a later time. This month’s theme is: Beach and Easter.

Stampin' Up Beach Day for memories

Ahhhhh…..the days are getting warmer….are you thinking beach yet? This month we created a Beach spread using Stampin’ Up BEACH DAY Bundle.

I think we’ll continue this theme in March with another scrapbook spread themed for the beach!

In addition to Beach Days Bundle, Bright Skies Stamp set was used along with Mini Alphabet die set. I love the Mini Alphabet Dies!!! They are a bit whimsical, small enough to put a word on a card and large enough to work well for scrapbooking!!!! Such a great die set! And…..you get all the letters & multiple of commonly used letters all in one pass through the die cutting machine!!!

We had soooo much fun making the surf boards! Die cut the surf boards in Basic White card stock and then with Blending Brushes…just transfer the ink in the way you want the board to look.

And we can’t let Valentines go by without some hearts! These pages will work for the pet you love to your sweetheart or those special ones you love no matter what time of year it is. Just drop the pictures in the hearts!

Registration begins for 2024 Creative Escape!

It’s been another fun event this past Saturday at the Birthday Stampin’ Blitz! I’ve included some pictures - every time I think I’m going to take more pictures and then I easily get distracted onto something else….

It is now time to look forward to this year’s Creative Escape! The Lodge at Douglas Lake has been reserved for SEPTEMBER 26-29TH 2024.

Check in will be the Thursday evening, the 26th and check out by Sunday morning at 9AM

Unfortunately, our cost at The Lodge has gone up so the cost for CE this year is $325 plus your bundle.

The limit is 30 ladies this year….I have deposits and about 15 reservations already….so don’t wait to send in your confirmation! I will have a waiting list if we have over 30 interested.

You may print and mail or text me a picture of your confirmation sheet. And then send a check or Zelle $50 deposit.

Elizabeth, Camille, and I are looking forward to another fun CE….who knows what will be the fun this year! :)

2024 Creative Escape Confirmation

Card Kit Class and Into to Rubber Stamping Class

Spread the word! I’m offering another Intfo to Rubber Stamping Class this coming Friday evening at 7PM. You will make 2 cards and in doing so, learn stamping techniques used to make cards, gifts, and scrapbooking. Please join me Friday, February 23th at 7 PM. Please RSVP so I know how much cardstock to cut and prepare for.

Also, Saturday, February 24th at 10 AM we’ll have our monthly card kit class! Such an easy class! You choose which kit you would like to make. There are around 6 to choose from. Each kit makes 8 or 9 cards or gift project. Cost depends on kits: $15- $25. Bring a friend!

Finally, Saturday evening, February 24th at 4:00PM will be our scrapbooking class. Cost $20. I plan a beach spread and a Valentines spread this month. Please RSVP for me to have ready for you.

Lilies for Easter and the whole year!

Do you know when Easter is this year?…..It is at the end of March! A little early this year!

This is a wonderful set! It has one of my favorite promises in the Bible. Proverbs 3:5&6 was very meaningful for me when we went through the trial of our youngest having thrush after he was born. It is one of encouragement!

This is also a wonderful set/bundle because it gives you 2 options for creating the lilies! Stamps and die cuts for the stamps AND die cuts that you can add color if you like and put the die cut pieces together to create your lilies!

And, you can make all different color lilies!

CARD BUFFET TIME!

It’s time for another card buffet! SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 3, 10 AM to 6 PM we’ll have another card buffet at my home in Belmont.

You choose which cards you want to make and the number you want to make. Cards are $2.50 each or make 8 and get the 9th one FREE.

Birthday Stampin' Blitz/ Paper Florist scrapbook spread

Start the year ahead! This February 17th….one day Stampin’ Blitz to make 20 birthday cards is coming up and spaces are filling!

Come join the fun crafting 20 birthday cards with friends! This event will be held at the Sr. Center in Dallas NC on Saturday, February 17th. 8AM to 8PM.

Cost is $110 plus purchase a product bundle through me for the event. You will share your bundle that day and take it home with you. Cost includes:

  • 20 cards with envelopes all cut and ready for you to stamp/die cut

  • adhesives

  • picture tutorials for cards

  • small gift

  • meals for the day: breakfast, lunch, supper, and cupcake desert buffet

  • I am working on free chair massage therapist

and lots of fun hanging out with friends for the day with the satisfaction of 20 birthday cards to use all year long!

Birthday Stampin’ Blitz 2024

We are back to monthly scrapbooking! Yeah! Life is feeling more normal now and even though there are boxes to unpack still….we are back to our monthly scrapbooking classes. Check out this months spreads and plan to join us February 24th for the next class. February spreads are planned to be Valentine and a spread using the Perennial Lavender Suite.

Our first spread uses the WONDERFUL die set, Paper Florist! I love this die set! One die and one time through the die machine gives you a whole complete multi layers of petals flower! It’s great! And you can make such a wide variety of different flowers using the set.

The next spread uses Autumn Leaves Dies from the annual 2023-2024 Stampin’ Up catalog

I am excited to implement 2 new classes now the we have moved to Belmont! Bring a friend and join us!

  • Card Kit Class: I have 6+ card kits to choose from…and more will be added. They range $15 - $25 and most have 8 to 9 cards all ready to put together. This class is 10AM to 11:30AM. Our next time to meet will be Saturday, February 24th

  • Beginning Rubber Stamping Class: Join me this Friday, January 26th at 6:30PM to lean basics of rubber stamping. We’ll make 2 cards learning the basics to cutting for a card, kinds of stamps, and techniques of heat embossing and two step stamping.

    There will be a follow up class on Friday, February 23rd
