Color and Contour Fall Card with Video Tutorial

Want one of those versatile sets that can be used for Spring, Summer, or Fall? A fabulous set would be Color & Contour bundle! It was a bundle I overlooked at first, but since I have purchased it, it has definitely been in my baskets in full use! The die set is fantastic! I keep using the frames for many of the cards I’ve made in the past few months….even using it for club this month with Pretty Pumpkins bundle.

Let’s focus on the stamps too…..The flowers can be used for a variety of seasons and with many colors. It comes with 2 different flowers. We chose the simple line one for this video. See how easy it is to use. I’ve included a sample card with the 2nd flower too.

One Day Craft Event you won’t want to miss!

12 hours…..make 20 Christmas cards! Creative Escape is always a fun time, and this year I’m extending the fun and crafting for a one day event on November 6th.

It’s a Saturday….imagine walking in to the smell of muffins and coffee. You’ll set around in your group crafting 2 of 10 styles of Christmas cards all day long! The cost of $75 includes all your card consumibles like card stock, envelopes, ribbon and embellishments all cut and ready for you. You will be provided with adhesive and dimensionals for crafting. A light breakfast, cobb salad for lunch, supper and a mini dessert buffet will also be included.

In addition to the $75, I require a product bundle to be purchased through me that you will use and share with the ladies at your table during the event and then you will take home with you. A list is on the second page of flyer…..you can see it by clicking the flyer below.

It is best if you have your own ink pads/Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers with you for this event or share with a friend.

Countdown to Creative Escape and Mini Creative Escape!

We are working hard to get everything prepared for Creative Escape this year!!! Counting down, as of the time I am typing this….11 days! Most of those will be spent wrapping gifts, cutting for scrapbooking and cooking!

As I walked into my “stacked to the ceiling with stuff” stamp room, this site below brings a smile to me in anticipation of our Creative Escape time together this year…..may it bring a little anticipation to you too!

MINI CREATIVE ESCAPE……November 6th

Yes, this year, the first saturday in November, we’ll have a Mini Creative Escape. It will be 8am to 8pm at the Dallas Sr. Center in Dallas NC. This is just 5 min. from my home.

Projects will be 20 Christmas cards from 10 different bundles from the current June to December 2021 Stampin’ Up catalog.

We’ll have plenty of space to spread out, although you will be in groups so you can share the stamps and dies while you are at the event. And then you will take your product bundle home to keep as well as your 20 Christmas cards.

Please see the attached flyer. Print out the Confirmation or send an email with info. Payment in full due by October 16th. No refunds after October 16th.

Card Buffet this Friday/Saturday

Over 13 cards to choose from to make! You choose which cards to make and how many of each one. Cost is $2.50 a card - when you make 8 cards, your 9th one is FREE.

Christmas Gift tags using Penguin Builder Punch

 

60 and still learning! My assignment this week for my business builder group was to make a video and practicing editing it….OK, I am still in class 101, but here’s my video for this week.

These cute little penguins are so fun and easy to make! The Stampin’ Up Builder punch perfectly punches out the outer part of the penguin, the inner white part and the feet.

The hat, scarf, and reindeer antlers are stamped and cut out - you design and use any colors!

I placed the penguins on a background of silver foil strips found in Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper #156329 and used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies for a Real Red Tag Base #151690

Perfect Plants scrapbook spread...Growin' Like A Weed

 

Most of us still have a few pictures of the kids doing life as a kid and growing up! I’m just going to have to decide which kid to put on these pages!!!

I’ve used Bloom Where You’re Planted DSP #155696 on 12 x 12 base neutrals color, Gray Granite. I did cut out all my plants from the DSP, but there are dies for both pots and plants if you would rather use those.

As interest, there is a viney stamp in the set that I used to stamp on Just Jade card stock with Just Jade ink and then die cut the letters for the title….it kinda’ makes the title stand out more.

And for a final embellishment….I used In Color Square Gems #155572. I’ve had my eye on using them and this seemed to be perfect using the colors in my pages….Cinnamon Cider, Just Jade and Bumblebee.

Our other spread uses the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle. I love the dies, especially the tall one. Pretty Pumpkins Bundle can be seen on page 48 in the July to December mini catalog. One of my team, Ann, turned my on to how cute and easy to use this bundle is. Here are her creations.

For our Carving Out Memories scrapbook spread, I used 12 x 12 base of Soft Succulent card stock. The texture colored on to the card stock base was made by using the Blending Brush #153611 and Adorning Designs Decorative Masks #156328. You will find it on page 9 in the July to December mini catalog. I stamped the swirly pumpkin leaves stamp over it in Just Jade ink.

More July Birthday cards…..

I think my birthday has come to an end for this year….actually I think I’m glad. Maybe this is the year I should start forgetting my age. LOL!

Update on Creative Escape…..I am hoping by this coming weekend to have confirmations out for you to give me stamp bundles, crafting preferences, craftmates, bedmates, food allergies and needs. I most keenly realize the time and am taking one thing at a time to see you at the beach in September! :)
