I feel loved.....

I am always trying to “play down” my birthday…but, it has happened again! I am overwhelmed with beautiful cards and a really fun birthday this year! My girls did a bday party for me and made my favorite carrot cake…even though I’m a chocolate girl too!

You guessed it! On the way up from the mailbox…..I am opening cards all the way! Such beautiful cards to share with you! And so very many gracious thanks to all of you who sent the cute, beautiful, loving, happy, creative, and crack me up cards!!! THANK YOU!!! You made my day…..over and over for many days! I loved it!

So I’ll share the cards below with the creator.

CREATIVE ESCAPE 2023

Plans are being made, theme has been decided, and preparations are in full swing for this years Creative Escape! I think you will have a fabulous time again! It’s a theme we’ve never done before. Those of you who have signed up already…be expecting a letter in the mail…. I am hoping this week.

If you would like to attend this year….there are 4 spaces left. I am taking only 30 ladies.

  • Dates: check in Thursday, Sept. 21st after 6:30pm and check out 9:30am Sunday, Sept. 24th

  • Cost: $300 covers your stay, meals, and crafting consumables plus purchase of product bundle through me to use and share at event

Cute Critters! Card kit class

June Scrapbooking

This month we stepped back in time to create an Easter spread! I love the gold embossing down each side of the left page. A 4 x 6 picture will fit on each matte. We continued the gold theme throughout the spread with lettering, ribbon, and embossed wording.

Pocket Shaker Card NEW technique with video

I love when a new idea comes…..especially when it solves a problem! Have you ever not liked how there is an opening on shaker cards around the edge to show the adhesive? I’ve got a solution!!! Try the new POCKET SHAKER CARD TECHNIQUE.

Pocket Shaker Card:

  • Make your “pocket” 1” wider than you desire and 1” longer than you desire

  • Score your pocket down each side at 3/8” and 1/2”

  • Use a Window Sheet, Stampin’ Up item #142314 over the front opening of your Shaker Pocket

  • Use Stampin’ Up foam adhesive strips #141825 to allow the depth for shaker elements.

2023 Engaging Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up

Another year Stampin’ Up has created some eye-catching Designer Series Paper! The catalog does not do justice to the pictures. As I separated it all out, my eyes loved looking at all the patterns, colors, and designs!

A great way to see ALL the different patterns and papers and decide which packages you want to get the whole package AND to have a LITTLE of ALL the Designer Series Paper is to purchase a SHARE.

For the 12 x 12 DSP, I prefer to cut it to measurement 4 x 12 inches so you will be able to get 2 complete card fronts plus a little extra piece.

Monkey Around with the Little Monkey Bundle from Stampin' Up!

That’s exactly what we did with these CUTE little monkeys at our team meeting this past Saturday!

NEW in the 2023-2024 Stampin’ Up annual catalog is a CUTE stamp and builder punch called Little Monkey. Sale begins Tuesday, May 2nd. Item #161379 $38.50 USD plus tax and shipping.

Here are samples of our creativity with this Little Monkey bundle. First is a flip card…. The card opens as a regular card but on the front is a pull tag at the bottom so you can “flip” through the monkey swinging, eating a banana to the final sentiment of “I’m bananas about you”

 
 

One of the gifts at our team meeting was some banana bread…tied with a monkey belly band. We also added a monkey belly band to the plastic ware

 

And here’s another card we made from the Little Monkey Bundle. The face was made by stamping the monkey on crumb cake CS with Pecan Pie ink and then punching it out and adhering it to a stamped and punched monkey in Pecan Pie ink and CS.
