Adventurous Sky scrapbook spread

Take To The Sky Suite has been so fun to use! This month we started to create a travel spread….but I really think any adventure or exploration opportunity will fit on this spread. And we used some of the 12 x 12 Take To The Sky DSP on the next spread using the Hot Air Ballon

Adventurous Sky Bundle #163447

The word “love” is a retired Stampin’ Up die I have, being pulled by the die cut plane in Adventurous Sky Die set. It is so easy to use!

You can see we used some clouds from Adventurous Sky stamp set and then added a couple of planes stamped in Memento ink and used Copper Clay and Lt. Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends to color in and then die cut to attach to pages.

The ribbon is colored with a dark Copper Clay Stampin’ Blend and then when completely dry, we attached with Tombo Adhesive….the Industrial Trinkets that come with Take To The Sky suite #163832. Click on picture to enlarge.

Our next spread is one of encouragement! It uses the Bundle Hot Air Ballon….and remember, I said we used some of the Take To the Sky Designer Series Paper…..that pretty fluffy white cloud paper is from Take To The Sky DSP.

Each month, I host scrapbooking usually on a Saturday evening. You are invited to come and make two 2-pages spreads for $20. RSVP Next opportunity will be May 18th @ 4:00PM

It’s always fun to “play” with new stuff! Stampin’ Up is adding new fantastic products 6 times a year now….3 of them are in printed form and 3 are digital form on the internet.

Check out some of these new items….we’ve been playing with Latte Love this month for club in a fun fold (Hint Hint….a good reason to visit one of my clubs, besides making new wonderful friends you get to learn and make new fun folds and learn new technique from the latest Stampin’ Up products!

Team meeting was a hoot this time too! Elizabeth was our barista and for our gift…check out this cute notebook!

Look what’s inside this note pad! We added a pocket and some Brass Butterfly embellishements with a little Latte gift card from Starbucks - fun stuff!

I love our team meetings! We have a lot of fun together as you can see by these pictures! I love the smiles….they tell the story!

I’ve been drawn to Notes of Nature Bundle as soon as I saw it in the January to April 2024 catalog! My swap featured the stamps and dies along with the Metallic Pearlized Enamel Effects. Here’s my card.

We used the Bronze Pearlized Enamel Effects in 2 different ways on this card

  • adding some enamel to water and used a waterpainter to paint the die cut leaves

  • adding some enamel to 91% rubbing alcohol and using a tooth brush to splatter on to card

I find with the Pearlized Enamel Effects, it is very important to use a coated plastic plate so I am NOT going to mess up a clear blocks or other tools when mixing the enamel and

IMMEDIATELY rinse any tools you used like water painters or tooth brushes. The enamel once dried will be permanently stuck to what it drys on.

But….I love using it! You can mix with reinkers to get the color you want, add pearl shaped dots to any project and it takes on that particular color of ink it is placed on. Get yourself some and have fun!!!

Please stay tuned! I will be sending pictures of our team swap cards this week! Take card and stamp something today!

Thanks for stoping by! Esther
